Founders, Amira and Chern founded The Straits Finery with a desire to create a fine jewellery brand that not only looks great, but also comfortable to wear. Eventually creating pieces that become a part of you, ones that you can dress up or down, making you feel beautiful.

Inspired by their surroundings growing up by the sand and sea, Amira and Chern learned to appreciate the simplicities of life, while their appreciation for jewellery came from their mothers. They watched them style themselves with beautiful heirloom pieces passed down from generation to generation. It is the combination of the two that led them to the launch of The Straits Finery in 2015. The result was the creation of a line of jewellery that showcases subtle luxuries inspired by the past but made for today.
