Established in 2016 in the vibrant city of London, Maviada's vision is to create beautiful fine and vermeil jewellery, aimed at chic, intelligent, sophisticated women worldwide. Never forgetting its Mediterranean heritage, the growing international luxury brand focuses its passion on playful, colourful designs, brilliant hued sustainable gemstones and luxurious fine jewellery to fit a casual luxe lifestyle.
Founder, Eda Elbirlik, hasn’t always been involved in the jewellery business. Having moved to the United States at 6, she always returned to her Mediterranean roots every summer along the Aegean coast. She studied Art History-French-PreMed in University and did her Graduate studies Dentistry, further specialising as an Endodontist at NYU. She enjoyed a successful dental career in New York and Washington DC. She then moved with her husband and family to settle in London in 2009. Having relocated, she decided to go after her passion for fine jewellery and trained in jewellery design with courses at the GIA and Central St Martin.
Maviada's inspiration comes from the colours, sights and senses of her Mediterranean upbringing. Maviada's jewellery offers classic contemporary design with clean aesthetics, playfulness and effortless style.
